Winter sales in many stores start on Sunday

Brown Thomas in Dublin and Marks & Spencer and will be among the first of the major stores to reopen after the Christmas break, on Sunday at 10 a.m. Their winter sales will start immediately.

Dunnes Stores is also planning to reopen its larger stores on Sunday, including Douglas in Cork, Cornelscourt and Donaghmede in Dublin. Opening times vary but are generally between 11 a.m. and midday, with the whole group resuming normal trading hours on Monday December 28th.

The Dunnes Stores sale starts on January 2nd at 9 a.m.

Roches Stores will reopen on Monday at 9 a.m. but the winter sale will not start until January 12th.

Tesco Ireland, which includes all former Quinnsworth stores as well as Bloomfields in Dun Laoghaire, will also reopen on Monday. Its sale starts on Monday January 4th.

Arnotts of Henry Street will reopen on Tuesday at 9.30 a.m. and its sale starts immediately.
