Cork

Batchelors Walk closed from Francis Street to Devonshire Street West. Roadworks on Sarsfield Road (southern side of the South Link Road). Motorists advised to use alternative route. William Street and Convent Avenue are closed.

Limerick

Howleys Quay, Harveys Quay and Honans Quay closed. One-way traffic system operating on George's Quay.

Kilkenny

Roadworks on N8 (Cork/Dublin Road) at Johnstown. Delays expected.

Travel

Aer Rianta: Passenger numbers passing through Dublin Airport this weekend expected to exceed 184,000.

Passengers should allow themselves sufficient time to comply with check-in regulations.

Iarnrod Eireann: Tickets for Cork trains to Dublin for Sunday's match sold out. Small number of tickets remain for Kilkenny fans travelling on trains from Waterford and Kilkenny. Advance booking is necessary.

Road Deaths

A total of 285 people have been killed in road accidents so far this year, with five people killed in the week to Wednesday night.
