Dublin

Work on footpaths will cause inconvenience on Lower Ormond Quay and Parnell Street. Swift Row is closed until November 23rd and diversions are in place. Roadworks at Blackhorse Avenue will continue. Works on the N1 at Julianstown north of the Balbriggan bypass are causing delays until Christmas.

Expect disruption to outbound traffic at Amiens Street while work is being undertaken on a quality bus corridor. There will be ducting work at Milltown Road and Dundrum Road for the next three months. Until mid-December there is no right turn from Annamoe Road to the North Circular Road as part of the work being carried out on the Blanchardstown quality bus corridor. Work is also being carried out on bus corridors at Stillorgan, the Navan Road and the North Strand Road at Annesley Place. Drivers heading to the airport should allow extra time because of work on Drumcondra Road.

Limerick

For the next two months there is single-lane traffic because of repairs to the railway bridge at Oola on the N24. Work on the N7 from Sallymount to Daly's Cross for the next five months will necessitate single-lane traffic from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. Monday to Friday and 8 a.m. - 4.30 p.m. on Saturday. There is a diversion due to roadworks at Hassett's Cross. There is no through road from Athlunkard Street via Sir Harry's Mall to Baal's Bridge.

Kildare

Delays are expected on the N78 south of Kilcullen due to roadworks. At Athy, pipe-laying has closed Emly Square and traffic heading to Dublin from Carlow side should turn right at Meeting Street and go up Leinster Street.

Cork

There is resurfacing work on the Poulavone roundabout at the Model Farm end of Ballincollig. There are roadworks on the Bishopstown Road between Looney's Cross and the Garda station and on the Model Farm Road between the Cork Business and Technology Park and Farranlea Park.

Waterford

Roadworks and temporary traffic lights are in place on the Dungarvan Road about five miles from Dungarvan at Pike Hill for the next three weeks from 7.45 a.m. - 6 p.m. Roadworks continue at Farran Park and Michael Street is closed.

Meath

For the next two months expect extensive roadworks on the N3 Navan Road one mile south of Dunshaughlin near the Coun ty Club. Temporary traffic lights and lane restrictions apply.

Leitrim

Speed restrictions are in operation on the N16 Sligo-Enniskillen road about four miles west of Manorhamilton until the end of the year.

Roscommon

Traffic on the N4 Dublin-Sligo road is being diverted on to the new road over the Curlew mountains. Traffic is diverted north of Boyle and there are temporary traffic lights.

Kerry

Roadworks at Castleisland will continue for three months.

Galway

The entrance to NUI Galway on the Newcastle Road has been closed due to roadworks. There are roadworks on the coast road from Galway to Oranmore for the next 14 weeks.

Donegal

There are roadworks on the Donegal Road at Letterkenny and on the Sligo side of Donegal town for the next few weeks.

Carlow

Drivers are advised to avoid delays on the N9 Carlow-Kilkenny road just south of Carlow. Use the Green Road instead.
