Water Heritage Day aims to raise awareness of water as an integral part of our heritage, says Beatrice Kelly of the Heritage Council. Groups around the country are involved in Secchi testing (assessing the quality of water) on September 11th.

Other events include:

Talk on mythology surrounding seals. Also, seals will be called by bell and drum and fed. Meet opposite Nicky's Plaice fish shop, Howth at 3pm.
