Atambua - Indonesia's military said yesterday it would take tough action to force Timorese militias to disarm.
The US and the World Bank have warned that much-needed aid could be at risk if the country's military does not break up the gangs. The UN Security Council yesterday repeated a demand that Indonesia disband the militias after renewed threats to UN personnel last weekend.
