Tokyo - The Japanese parliament is expected to enact legislation to enshrine the rising-sun flag and imperial hymn as the national symbols next week. Upper house members of the main ruling and opposition parties in talks yesterday agreed to vote on the bill at a plenary session next Monday, according to Jiji Press news agency.
