A US B-52 bomber exploded while landing in a Qatari air base due to a technical fault today,
Qatar-based Al Jazeera television reported.
The television did not say if anyone was hurt in the incident at the base south of the Qatari capital Doha.
A US air force spokesman said he had no immediate report of such an incident and would check.
