Police in England are hunting for a female driver who fled the scene of a crash which killed an 11-year-old boy.
The boy died after after a Ford Focus mounted a pavement and ploughed into a group of pedestrians on Friday night.
Floral tributes have been laid at the scene of the accident in Westbury-on-Trym, Bristol, where skid marks could be seen along the road and pavement for around 60 metres.
Police appealed for the woman at the wheel of the car to contact them.
Detective Inspector Ian Chadwick said: "If you were the person involved in this collision please come forward so that we can talk to you about what happened.
"If anyone else saw the collision or a woman leaving the area in a hurry, or knows where that person is now I would urge them to get in touch.
"This was a nasty collision which claimed the life of a young boy and I am keen to establish exactly what happened."
The woman is described as white, with long blonde hair and aged in her mid-30s.
A man received minor injuries and was released later on Friday after receiving hospital treatment.
The three other pedestrians, all children, were uninjured.
The dead boy has not been named by police.
One bunch of flowers at the site contained a card which read: "Dear Sammie, thank you for being one of the most friendliest and loveliest boys at Alberts Place.
"You were a fantastic footballer and will be greatly missed.
"God bless you now with love and prayers."
