The victims of a fatal Carlow road crash yesterday have been named as Mr Kenneth Bolger (21) and Ms Pamela McAffey (20) both from Dolmen Heights in Co Carlow.
The incident happened at around 6 p.m. on the N80 road just outside the Co Carlow village of Ballon. There were two cars involved.
The two victims were travelling in the same car.
A man and woman travelling in the other car were injured and were taken to St Luke's hospital in Kilkenny.
