Two men were sent forward for trial to the Central Criminal Court today charged with the murder of a Chinese-Vietnamese man in Dublin's Temple Bar last year.

Mr Noel O'Flaherty (33) and Mr James Phillip Harmer (26), both of no fixed addresses, were charged with murdering Luong Ly Minh (50) at Fownes Street on August 16th last. He died from his injuries a few days after being attacked.

Books of evidence were served on the men who were remanded in custody to Cloverhill Prison.

At Dublin District Court, Judge Miriam Malone remanded them on bail on separate public order and assault charges on the same date.
