Two men charged in connection with a £500,000 drugs haul in the north-west last week were further remanded in custody for two weeks with consent to bail at Sligo District Court yesterday. They are Mr Calvin Carty (30), of Garavogue Villas, Sligo, and Mr Graham O'Grady (21), of Cartron Estate.
Another man being held at Manorhamilton Garda Station, Co Leitrim, was released without charge yesterday. A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
