Gardaí in Limerick are continuing to question two men in connection with a shooting in the Moyross area of the city yesterday.
A man was badly injured when he was shot in the back at around 2.00 p.m. He was rushed to Limerick General Hospital, where his condition is said to be stable.
The men, both in their 20s, were arrested shortly afterwards and are being held under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act.
