Gardaí are searching for two armed men tried to rob a cash-in-transit van in Dublin today.
The men, who were armed with a gun, tried to hold up the van in Artane Shopping Centre at about 9am.
However it is believed staff refused or were unable to hand over the money and the two men fled the scene on a motorbike.
The gun and bike were found abandoned a short distance away, a Garda spokesman said.
