Two men were injured today in an explosion while working at Dromoland Castle Hotel in Co Clare.
Both men were sealing a window on the first floor at the back of the hotel when a small gas cylinder exploded.
One of the men was taken to University College Hospital Galway with burn wounds. His condition is described as stable. The other man is recovering tonight at Ennis General Hospital.
