Two people have been killed in separate traffic incidents in Kerry and Sligo.
A woman, understood to be an American tourist in her 50s, died when she was hit by a van on Inch beach on the Dingle peninsula shortly before 10am this morning,
It is understood a van transporting surfboards was reversing at the time of the incident, which happened just before 10am. Gardaí at Dingle are investigating.
Meanwhile, a 46-year-old man died after his motorbike was in collision with a van at Stonepark near Ballymote, Co Sligo at about 10.45am.
