Two men have been injured in two separate paramilitary-style shootings in the North.

An 18-year-old man was admitted to hospital with gunshot wounds to both legs after an attack in Strabane in County Tyrone last night.

He was found in Springhill Park, Strabane shortly before 9.30 p.m. last night.

In a separate incident, a 21-year-old man is in hospital suffering from gunshot wounds to the ankles following a shooting in west Belfast.

Meanwhile, a man in Glengormley in Belfast sustained head and facial injuries following a serious assault.

The man is in a critical condition in hospital.
