Two in stable condition after Dublin shooting

Two men are still being treated in hospital this morning following a drive-by shooting in West Dublin.

Two men are still being treated in hospital this morning following a drive-by shooting in West Dublin.

The men,  aged 21 and 27, were walking on Clonsilla Road in Blanchardstown when a number of shots were discharged from a black car, which had approached them at around 6.15 p.m.

They were taken to James Connolly Memorial hospital, where their condition was described as stable.

Gardaí closed the scene and surrounding area for a technical examination.
