They are being questioned over the attempted robbery which took place in the Keady Road area of Armagh on Saturday evening.

During the attempted robbery two masked men, one of whom had a firearm, entered a house and a struggle ensued with the owner.

The pair fled after dropping a firearm and stun-gun device and police followed a Land Rover vehicle seen leaving the area but which failed to stop.
