Two men have been found guilty of the killing of a 19-year-old Dublin man three years ago.

Two men have been found guilty of the killing of a 19-year-old Dublin man three years ago.

Brian Willoughby (24) from Templeogue was convicted of murdering Mr Brian Mulvaney in March 2000, while an 18-year-old was convicted of manslaughter. He has not been named during the trial because he was 15 at the time of the offence.

A third man, Mr Neil Barbour (20), was acquitted.

Mr Mulvaney died from the inhalation of blood after he was found lying on the roadside in Templeogue with severe head injuries.

The jury in the trial was sent to a hotel last night after failing to reach a decision after three hours of deliberating.
