Two people have been killed in separate crashes in Co Galway.
A 35-year-old man died when his car crashed into a wall in Co Galway late last night.
The crash on the outskirts of Spiddal happened shortly before midnight and the victim is understood to be a Swiss national living locally.
A woman in her 80s has also died after being hit by a car in Salthill yesterday evening on Dr Mannix Road.
