Two men injured in a stabbing incident in Limerick last month were deported to London over the weekend

Two men injured in a stabbing incident in Limerick last month were deported to London over the weekend. Mr Wong Tak Leung (41), a Hong Kongborn British national with an address at Lisheen Homes, Caherdavin, Limerick, and Mr Chia Him Siam (32), a Malaysian with an address at Mallow Street, Limerick, were convicted on an immigration charge under the Aliens Act, 1935. They were given three-month suspended sentences on condition they were deported.

They were among four catering workers who were involved in a fight in a premises at William Street, Limerick, on December 28th.
