Two men were being held in a Dublin garda station last night following the seizure of €75,000 worth of heroin in a flat on Dorset Street yesterday.
The search, which followed an operation carried out by the Garda North Central divisional drug unit attached to Store Street Garda station, took place at around 2pm.
A 31-year-old and a 42-year-old were subsequently arrested and detained at Store Street Garda Station under Section 2 Criminal Justice (Drug trafficking) Act 1996.
The drugs have been removed to the Garda Technical Bureau for examination and gardaí are continuing their investigation.
