DIYARBAKIR - Turkey said yesterday it had uncovered a Kurdish separatist guerrilla link to a one trillion lira (about £9 million) manure subsidy fraud.
The state run Anatolian news agency said the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) took a cut of at least 20 billion lira from the fraud in which farmers and distributors claimed 50 per cent state subsidies for manure they never bought.
