Lawyers for the Flood tribunal will apply to the High Court next Monday to have set aside proceedings taken against it by a Dublin estate agent and auctioneer, Mr John Finnegan.

On Tuesday Mr Finnegan got leave to seek a number of orders against the tribunal where he was being questioned in connection with the affairs of the former minister, Mr Ray Burke.

Those proceedings are to be raised in the High Court again on Monday, but a full hearing of the case is unlikely for some time.
