Traffic has resumed on the M1 southbound near the Balbriggan following a crash near the exit this morning.
According to AA Roadwatch, the incident occurred between Junctions 5 and 6 shortly before 8.30am. The route was “completely blocked” for a while and diversions were put in place.
AA Roadwatch said the scene of the crash was cleared at around 9.10am and that traffic has now returned to normal.
Meanwhile, traffic has eased in the city after what AA Roadwatch described as a "exceptionally busy" morning due to the combination of poor weather and a number of incidents on major approach roads.
