Three teenagers killed in Belfast road crash

Three teenagers, including twin brothers,  have been killed in a road accident in the Castlereagh area of east Belfast.

Three teenagers, including twin brothers,  have been killed in a road accident in the Castlereagh area of east Belfast.

The single vehicle crash happened at around 1am on the Ballygowan Road.

Two of the victims, aged 18 and 19, died at the scene. The third died later in hospital.

The PSNI said the road near Roselawn Cemetery between the Upper Braniel Road and School Road would remain closed for several hours this morning.
