Two men and a woman were killed in road accidents on Saturday. A motorcyclist, Mr Martin Browne (20), of Dunboyne, Co Meath, was killed after a collision with a car in Batterstown. An 85-year-old woman, Ms Eileen O'Shea, of Castlecove, Co Kerry, died after being struck by a car while walking in Castlecove. A cyclist in his mid-60s was killed in a collision with a car in Massbrook, Co Mayo. He was later identified as Mr Tony Moran, who came from the area.
