Three people have been arrested following a second night of disturbances at a sectarian interface in east Belfast.

PSNI officers said they responded to what they called “minor disturbances” in the Albertbridge Road and Mountpottinger interface areas, which are near Short Strand.

Petrol bombs and other missiles were thrown at police and one officer received a facial injury.

The area was restored to calm about 2.30am yesterday.
