It's week one of the Dublin Fringe Festival and don't kid yourself - you can't put off your festival-going until the Dublin Theatre Festival kicks off next week. Here are some of this week's highlights: US comedian Rich Hall is doing his Otis Lee Crenshaw show (Tuesday-Saturday, Andrew's Lane, 8.30 p.m.); Fabulous Beast are premiering their dance work, Fragile, (Civic Theatre, Tallaght, Wednesday-Saturday, 8 p.m.); Calipo perform their new play, Xaviers (Wednesday-October 9th, 8 p.m.); Gare St Lazare perform Anthony Ryan's new play, The Three-Legged Fool, (Andrews Lane, Monday-Saturday, 8.15 p.m.); Blue Raincoat perform Jocelyn Clarke's version of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (Tuesday-Saturday, 8 p.m.); Kabosh from Belfast tackle Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet in R&J (Meetinghouse Square, Wednesday-Saturday, 8 p.m.); and the Aerowaves Dance Festival (Tivoli Theatre, Monday-Wednesday) presents a programme of new dance from Spain, Ireland, Belguim and the Canary Islands).
