Teachers have lost enthusiasm for Labour's education policies, but are still likely to back Mr Blair, according to a poll.

The survey, produced by NOP, showed that support for Liberal Democrat education policies has soared from 12 per cent in 1992 to 28 per cent now. Labour has slipped from 48 per cent to 29 per cent.
