The confessed killer of Swedish Foreign Minister Anna Lindh had his life jail sentence confirmed by the Supreme Court after he appealed for leniency.
Mijailo Mijailovic (25) admitted to a frenzied knife attack last year on the Ms Lindh (46), who had been tipped as the next prime minister.
But he said he argued he should not be jailed as he was mentally ill at the time of the attack, which he blamed on "voices" in his head.
