A mother sent one of her three children to answer the door when gardaí entered and found the 33 "heroin deals" she had on her TV/video unit, Dublin District Court heard yesterday.

Yasmin Lee (27), Sillogue Road, Ballymun, denied using her flat for the preparation of €2,500 worth of heroin last November 18th. Garda Eileen Keogh said gardaí found the deals and the woman made a statement the next day admitting the material was heroin.

Judge Hugh O'Donnell was told Lee had no previous convictions and although she had had a heroin problem, she had been on treatment for the last year.

Judge O'Donnell said that because of her clean record, he would suspend a six-month jail sentence on condition that she was not convicted of another crime within two years.
