A strike at a branch of Iceland, the British frozen food chain, in Ballyfermot, Dublin, has been deferred for a week.
Mandate had called a strike for yesterday, but in late-night talks on Thursday the union agreed to defer the action after the company agreed to discuss pay and working conditions at the Labour Relations Commission next Thursday.
