DOWN the street from the gallery, at CoisCeim's dance theatre's performance at Project Arts Centre, there was another missed opportunity for a spot of moral outrage. When the talented trio of dancers performed their show Straight With Curves in Belfast two weeks ago, it received polar opposite: responses. Inside the theatre the audience cheered and stamped their feet while outside the Government. and Morals Committee of the Free Presbyterian Church of Ulster sang hymns in protest at the nudity on stage.
Things were much quieter outside the Project last night and the show is already sold out for tonight. However, fans of the extraordinarily talented dancer and choreographer David Bolger can see his new show, Hit and Run, when it opens the Project Arts Centre's temporary new space off Henry Street in January.
