Flights from Ireland to France will face disruptions and cancellations tomorrow due to a strike by French civil aviation workers.

Aer Lingus says the one-day action will lead to the cancellation of three return flights on routes from Dublin to Paris, Dublin to Nice, and Cork to Paris.

However, two scheduled return flights on the routes from Dublin to Paris and Dublin to Nice will operate, and passengers with reservations should check in as normal.

Passengers holding confirmed reservations on the cancelled flights are advised to contact Aer Lingus Reservations on 0818 365000.

Ryanair has warned its customers about possible disruption but has so far not cancelled any flights.

The company said in a statement: "The situation may change as there may be restrictions on air travel . . . As the strike action will affect most transport links, passengers intending to travel on Ryanair flights from France next Tuesday should also allow plenty of extra time for their journey to the airport".

They are advising customers to monitor the company website.

Passengers intending to fly Air France are advised that five flights have been cancelled with the 7.10 p.m. service returning at 10 p.m. the only flight in operation. Passengers can can contact the company on 0033-141-565600 for further information.

Normal services to and from France are expected to resume on Wednesday.
