Zion Church Rathgar Trinity Sunday, 22nd May 2016 - 9.00am Holy Communion; 10.30am Matins. During the 10.30 Service, the choir will sing Hymn 322, St Patricks Breastplate, which opens with the words I bind unto myself today, the strong name of the Trinity. They will use the music arrangement by T.R.G Joz who was a prominent church musician in Dublin at the end of the 19th / early 20th century. This much-loved, colourful setting, widely used in parish churches, is no longer included in hymn books, but older members of the church will recall it with affection. All are welcome.
