SHEFFIELD - A British city was caught in storms yesterday which covered it in six inches of snow. Weird weather hit Sheffield and streets were covered in snow hours after the city had been bathing in sunshine. "It looked as if it was the middle of winter, with a covering of snow, six inches deep in places," one resident said.
