Declan Kidney has opted to retain Geordan Murphy at fullback despite Rob Kearney's return to fitness but the Leinster man is on the bench instead of Andrew Trimble.

Wales captain Ryan Jones will miss the match after failing to shake off a calf injury, so Martyn Williams will captain the side.

Gloucester's Gareth Delve will come in for Jones at number eight in one of three changes to the side that lost 26-20 to France on February 26th.

Lock Luke Charteris replaces Deiniol Jones and hooker Matthew Rees is preferred to Huw Bennett in the other changes.

Scotland coach Andy Robinson has made one change to the side for Saturday's Six Nations clash with England at Murrayfield.

Nick de Luca will start for the first time since 2008 at outside centre with Simon Danielli dropping to the bench. Max Evans moves to the left wing.

England manager Martin Johnson has retained his entire backline and made two changes up front, one of which was enforced by injury.

Lock Simon Shaw is out with the shoulder injury he sustained in the opening exchanges against Ireland and is replaced by Louis Deacon while flanker Lewis Moody drops to the bench to open the door for Joe Worsley to make his first start of the championship.

Italy coach Nick Mallett has retained the XV which beat Scotland for Sunday’s Six Nations clash against the unbeaten French in Paris but Marc Lievremont was forced to tinker with his winning formula.

Winger Marc Andreu, who will start for the first time, and centre David Marty replace Julien Malzieu and Mathieu Bastareaud respectively from the team that beat Wales 26-20 on Feb. 26 in Cardiff to stay on course for a grand slam.
