Police are investigating shootings at two houses in north Belfast.

Police are investigating shootings at two houses in north Belfast.

A PSNI spokesman said a house in Alliance Avenue and another in Glenbryn Park were hit by gunfire just before noon.

There are no reports of injuries.

Elswhere, a householder was treated for smoke inhalation caused by a petrol bomb attack in east Belfast early this morning.

The attack on a flat in the Ravenswood Park area took place at 1 a.m. A fire that started in the kitchen was put out by the occupant.
