Nottingham Forest's shares have today been suspended from the Alternative Investment Market after the club failed to publish their accounts for the financial year ending on May 31st, 2001.

Forest are 13th in Division One and have come under growing financial pressure recently.

They had accepted offers from Birmingham and Southampton for Chris Bart-Williams, but the Midlanders' most saleable asset has opted against a move, preferring to leave for free under the Bosman Ruling when his contract expires in the summer.
