Ulster coach Alan Solomons welcomes back front row pair Matt Sexton and Robbie Kempson for the visit of Munster to Ravenhill in Pool A of the Celtic League on Friday.

Hooker Sexton and prop Kempson were selected for last weekend's win over Neath but had to cry off with flu. Their replacements on the day, Simon Best and Paul Shields, drop to the bench.

Johnny Bell missed the Neath game because of ankle trouble but he passed a fitness test earlier today and starts in the centre at the expense of Shane Stewart.

David Humphries and Gary Longwell are still on international duty so Adam Larkin and Mark Blair continue at out-half and second row respectively.

Jeremy Davidson, the former Ireland and Lions star, retains the captaincy following his heroic performance against Neath.

22-year-old scrum-half David Spence has been named in the province's 30 man European Cup squad at the expense of Paddy Wallace who is likely to miss the enitre season through injury.

Munster will delay naming their team until tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Steph Nel's unbeaten Connacht side have made three changes for the game against Bridgend at The Brewery Field on Saturday.

Mark McHugh, a late call up to the Ireland squad for the last weekend's trip to Russia, is available once again and replaces James Norton at full back.

Damian Browne returns from injury and steps into the second row for Warwick Waugh who has a bruised shoulder.

Michael Swift is dropped from a back row that sees Eric Peters in at No.8, John O'Sullivan moving to openside and Colm Rigney selected at blindside.

Johnny O'Connor, Dermot O'Sullivan and Gavin Duffy were not considered because of injury.
