On Monday night, arsonists attacked another hall in Castlederg, causing extensive damage.

SDLP Assembly member Eugene McMenamin said the latest arson attack on an Orange Hall was intolerable and he hoped there would be no repercussions.

"The hall was a huge benefit to the whole community," the West Tyrone MLA said.

"It hurts local groups that host events in the hall, including the local credit union. It is a great loss to groups young and old.

"I would hope that we could get along on this small island, learn to appreciate all our cultures and acknowledge each other through education and respect for differences.

"Every right-thinking person should condemn the attack.

"Details surrounding this attack are still unclear, so I would urge anyone who holds any information to contact the local PSNI immediately."
