There may have been cloudy skies on Thursday night but all the stars were tucked away in the cinema watching the charity premiere of Welcome To Sarajevo in aid of Cradle. The MC for the night was Gerry Ryan: his wife, Morah Ryan, did all the behind-the-scenes work, including persuading loads of her mates to come along on the night. Def Leppard's Rick Savage came along with old friends Caroline Downey and Cindy Cafolla. Radio Ireland's John McColgan and Moya Doherty; solicitor James Hickey; Liam Miller of RTE; Harry and Rita Crosbie; Boyzone manager Louis Walsh; Pat and Kathy Kenny, and Linda Martin, spokeswoman for the DSPCA, were all enjoying the film alongside the film's actor James Nesbitt and screen writer Frank Cottrell Boyce.

Afterwards the party moved to Columbia down on the quays where there was a light supper and dancing until the wee hours. Welcome To Sarajevo was a particularly apt movie for Cradle founder, Jadzia Kaminska, who is heading off to Sarajevo for a year herself.
