The Achill rooster case concluded in Ballina Circuit Court yesterday when Judge Harvey Kenny was told that a wall had been built between the parties involved in the dispute. The case was brought by Mr Peter Masterson against his next door neighbour, Ms Moira Gallagher, both of St Finian's Road, Achill Sound, Co Mayo.

He said Ms Gallagher's rooster caused early morning annoyance to his B&B customers. A previous court sitting was told the rooster had since died. Yesterday, Mr Gerry Needham BL (representing Mr Masterson) said the wall had now been completed and the matter could be struck out.
