Rescuers find man in Wicklow Mountains

A man (30) who was reported lost in the Wicklow Mountains yesterday has been found after an all-night search.

The man had been walking in the Knocksink area of Enniskerry when he became separated from his friend.

His friend raised the alarm when the missing man failed to return home.

Gardaí contacted the Glen of Imaal Mountain Rescue Team and the Dublin/Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team, who began the hunt for the missing man.

The Irish Coastguard Helicopter joined the search at 4 a.m. and the man was found safe and well by a mountain rescue team at 5.30 a.m.
