The exhumation of the remains of executed War of Independence patriots from Mountjoy Prison and their reburial in a public graveyard was sought by Mr Labhras O Murchu (FF). It was only right that the mortal remains of such noble people be reburied in a more appropriate place, such as Glasnevin Cemetery, he said.
Mr Cassidy said his party colleague had raised a very important matter, which he would discuss with the relevant Minister.
