All early trains to Dublin from Cork, Kerry and Limerick next Sunday are sold out due to high demand from fans travelling to Munster's European Rugby Cup semi-final clash with Leinster, Iarnród Éireann has said.

The company said all regular and extra services arriving in Dublin before the kick-off are full. It has advised intending travellers who have not already booked rail tickets to make alternative arrangements, as there will be no tickets available for sale on Sunday.

Some 3,000 fans are expected to travel by rail to the match on Sunday alone, Iarnród Éireann said. The company also expects high demand on its services for the rest of the weekend.

Extra Dart services will be available to and from Lansdowne Road on Sunday.
