Galway Corporation has begun work on a £5 million scheme to house a number of tenants from the controversial Rahoon Park flats complex, which is due to be demolished soon.
The scheme will consist of 83 houses with two, three and four bedrooms, off Bishop O'Donnell Road in Rahoon, and will be completed in early 1999.
