Gardaí are advising motorists of traffic disruption on the roads around Dublin Port tomorrow

A protest by Marine Terminals' dockers at the Port is due to start at 10.30am and will last cause traffic disruption until approximately 1.30pm.

Marchers will cross the East Link Bridge for a public meeting outside the Marine Terminals depot.

Gardaí have warned the protest may cause disruption to traffic on East Wall Road travelling to the North Wall Quay and on the EastLink Bridge.

Traffic may also be affected at the Seán Moore roundabout travelling the the East Link and traffic travelling along the North Quay towards the “O2” roundabout.

Motorists have been advised to take an alternative route.

Marine Terminals' dockers in Dublin Port, who have been on strike since July 3rd, are resisting redundancies and pay cuts.

The march will be followed by a public meeting outside Marine Terminals which will be addressed by representatives of Siptu, including MTL shop stewards, DCTU, BCTU, the local community, Unite and the International Transport Federation.
