A post mortem on the body of a young woman found on waste ground in Galway earlier today is underway.
The woman, who is believed to be a student in her early 20s, was found between Lakeshore Drive and Ceannt Railway Station at around 9.30am this morning by a passer-by.
The scene has been sealed off for examination by forensic experts from the Garda Technical Bureau.
